Your legacy is more than a gift; it is a promise to help ensure that our services never end

They prepared Britain for the challenges of war, supporting air raid shelters, recruiting women as wardens, nurses, and ambulance drivers, and helping communities affected by bombings. When the Blitz began, these volunteers were already in action: escorting children to safety, serving millions of meals, collecting and mending clothing, and bringing comfort to troops on railway platforms.

Since then, WVS, WRVS and today Royal Voluntary Service has continued to serve Britain through times of crisis and calm, inspiring over three million people to give their time to help others.

Our volunteers give their time selflessly, but these vital services cannot run on goodwill alone. Funds are needed to recruit, train, and support volunteers safely, and to cover the essential costs that keep our much-loved services running.

By remembering Royal Voluntary Service in your Will, you help ensure our extraordinary services can continue for generations to come.

Gifts in Wills help fund this vital work, reaching people in their homes, hospitals, and communities when and where they are needed most.
