Can you help us be there for more people like Stephen?
Your donation could mean everything to someone struggling to cope alone.
Stephen lives with multiple sclerosis, which affects his mobility, but he remains determined to stay as active and independent as possible, while recognising he may need more support in the future. Although he has friends, he has gradually becoming more withdrawn and socially isolated due to his health. Regular calls with volunteer Beth have become an important source of connection and support in his life.
"Calls with Care really has been life changing, and the calls have added a much-needed boost to my life in general! "
"The volunteer I talk to is called Beth and she has been a ray of sunshine in my week. Her approach to making conversation has been so refreshing and enriching. Her attitude and breadth of understanding about life has very much given me a needed boost to my faith in humanity.
"I think anyone who volunteers to do something for others is special, and Beth in particular is a very special person indeed. "
