Coronavirus support and guidance
Evidence shows that staying active and social are key to ageing well. That’s why Royal Voluntary Service runs a wide range of clubs, groups and events in local communities, many run by volunteers. These are great places to meet up with friends - and make new ones – and you’ll always find a warm welcome, refreshments and a wide range of interesting activities.
Whether you want to meet friends for a bite to eat, enjoy a hobby or interest with like-minded people or want to learn new skills, there’s something for everyone. Some of our clubs and groups take place in Royal Voluntary Service Community Centres and Community Cafés, others in village halls, libraries and Community Sheds.
Our Community Cafés offer a place to meet up with friends, enjoy a light snack and take part in activities.
Our Healthy, Happy Lives programme helps people of all abilities improve their physical and emotional health.
A great place to meet, have lunch and catch up with friends.
Our Social Clubs and Events provide free and enjoyable activities.
