The AJ Bell Great North Run sees 60,000 incredible people take their place on the start line in Newcastle upon Tyne and travel 13.1 miles towards the beautiful coastline of South Shields.

If it's a Geordie welcome you're looking for then be prepared for the goosebumps as you hear the roar of thousands of supporters cheering your name, all the way from start to finish.

To apply for one of our charity places, please complete our application form. If you are successful, we ask that you pay a £30 registration fee and commit to raise £400 for Royal Voluntary Service. We can’t wait to welcome you to #TeamRVS for this incredible event.

Already have a place in the Great North Run?

If you’re lucky enough to secure your place directly through the Great North Run ballot, we’d love for you to join Team Royal Voluntary Service. There’s no minimum fundraising target; we simply ask that you raise as much as you can. Let our fundraising team know you’re planning to join our team.

As Royal Voluntary Service is a charity I support, it was a no-brainer for me
