Coronavirus support

Coronavirus support from Royal Voluntary Service
Royal Voluntary Service has always stepped forward at times of great national challenge. The coronavirus outbreak is an unprecedented event in our lifetime and we will be mobilising our staff and volunteers to do whatever they can to help.

During the coronavirus crisis, if you need help collecting shopping, medication or other essential supplies, please call 0808 196 3646 (8am to 8pm)

Following increased restrictions introduced to control the spread of coronavirus our services in communities and in the NHS have had to adapt to continue to provide vital support to people in hospitals and in the community.

Our essential community and face-to-face services are operating where it is safe to do so by following social distancing and safety guidance.

In hospitals our shops remain open and our cafés are open for takeaway services only. Face coverings and physical distancing rules must be followed.

Our dedicated teams continue to support older and vulnerable people with companionship telephone calls and by delivering essential food and medication and to bring people together in our Virtual Village Hall.
