Virtual Village Hall

Our Virtual Village Hall brings the power of real communities to people across Britain, wherever they are. From live events to chats and forums, we bring people-powered support direct to people at home.

We provide:

  • Tutor-led, free weekly programme of live health and wellbeing activities across digital platforms
  • Belonging to the community brings added value – 50K monthly users
  • Beneficial for those living with health conditions or recovering from treatment
  • Exercise classes eg: gentle stretching, strength/balance, yoga, dance, pilates
  • Mindful activities, arts & crafts, meditation, film club, health awareness.

Calls with Care

Our Calls With Care service provides a regular telephone call to people at risk of social isolation  from friendly volunteers.

We provide:

  • Regular companionship calls to help ease social isolation and loneliness and/or boost wellbeing
  • Calls can be provided as an add-on to wider packages of support
  • Volunteers are matched with clients according to shared interests which leads to mutually rewarding conversations
  • Monitoring, feedback and support team provides assurance
  • Clients can be referred for calls aged 18+ and support can continue as long as required.

Community connections

We offer an array of life-enhancing social groups and activity sessions in the community to boost well-being.

We provide:

  • Local community based clubs and groups across Britain supporting well-being and tackling loneliness
  • Providing social connection, nutrition, physical activity, mental stimulation, opportunities to try new things
  • Transport to attend sessions
  • Helpful staff and volunteer teams providing support and a warm welcome.

Volunteer transport

Our volunteers offer transport services to help people get where they need to go.

We provide:

  • Volunteer-run transport to help people get to medical appointments and social activities
  • Friendly volunteers drive their own cars and can accompany clients into destination venue
  • Low-cost option and more time is offered
  • Service is regularly wrapped into our service packages.
