Royal Voluntary Service offers a number of distinct services in and around hospitals and GP surgeries. We have cafés, shops and trolley services in hospitals across the country and we provide valuable, practical support to older people at home, as they prepare for a visit to hospital, during the stay in hospital and once they return home.
In addition we run dozens of welcome desks and we are training our volunteers so they can befriend older people on the ward during their stay.
