Face-to-Face fundraising is one of the most effective ways of recruiting new supporters and raising essential funds for Royal Voluntary Service. Regular gifts through Direct Debit and Continuous Card Payments allow us to commit to new projects and ensure the financial security of existing services.

All our Face-to-Face fundraisers will always be wearing Royal Voluntary Service Tabards and will always be carrying an official photo ID Card.

Our Face-to-Face fundraisers

Our Face-to-Face fundraisers work around the country speaking to people about our vital work in communities and in the NHS asking people if they can give a regular gift either by Direct Debit or continuous card payment.

Our current Face-to-Face activity is supported by an agency called Gather Campaigns who have permission to recruit on behalf of Royal Voluntary Service. We regularly train our fundraisers and carry out observations to ensure you have the best conversations about our work.

Our Face-to-Face Fundraisers work in two ways:

Door-to-Door: Our fundraisers knock on doors and have one-to-one conversations with people at their homes about our work.
Private site: Our fundraisers speak to people out in the public. They work in or outside venues such as shops, supermarkets, shopping centres and train stations. They usually have branded banners and a podium set up but will always have photo identification.

This week, our Door-to-Door fundraisers will be calling on people in the following postcode areas:

Please note that locations can sometimes be confirmed last minute so don't worry if one is not listed here. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us at fundraising@royalvoluntaryservice.org.uk or call 0800 731 9197.

Our telephone fundraisers

Following a sign up to a regular gift through one of our Face-to-Face fundraisers, you’ll receive a telephone call from one of our agencies supporting our recruitment campaign – either Quality Telephone Services Ltd (QTS) or Gather Campaigns.

QTS and Gather Campaigns are specialist agencies who are helping us to deliver our fundraising programme and to monitor our recruitment campaigns. One of these agencies will call all new recruits to confirm Direct Debit details and to welcome you to Royal Voluntary Service.
