Royal Voluntary Service is one of the largest volunteering organisations in Britain. For over 85 years we’ve demonstrated the power of civic participation, inspiring millions of citizens to deliver vital support and relief in communities and the NHS. 

We’re the recognised leaders in using digital to convene volunteers at scale. During the pandemic, on behalf of NHS England, we set up NHS and Care Volunteer Responders, the largest digital volunteering initiative of its kind. Over 600,000 volunteers were mobilised through an app – many of them volunteering for the first time.
