Join in! Celebrate with a Cheers for Volunteers

Sunday 2 July is the UK’s third annual Thank You Day. Join Royal Voluntary Service in raising a glass (or a cup of tea!) to say a big ‘Cheers for Volunteers’ and thank the amazing volunteers who make such an enormous contribution to society.

Let's take a moment to come together to toast the extraordinary people who spend their time and energy making our communities great places to live.

We also want to give a big cheers to Big Help Out volunteers. On 8 May, six million people joined in The Big Help Out and had a go at volunteering to lend a hand and make a change. We want to celebrate them too, and welcome them to the wonderful world of volunteering.

Let's celebrate together

It’s been a difficult few years but we’ve got through them – together. Our family, friends, neighbours and communities matter now more than ever.

Thank You Day is our chance to get together and have a party to say a great big “thank you” to each other - the people in our lives, families, streets and communities, who we rely on every day. The people whose support we couldn’t do without.

This year's Thank You Day is aiming to be the biggest yet. So however you would like to celebrate, save the 2 July in your diary and let’s all get together and say a great big Thank You.
