Royal Voluntary Service volunteers are on hand to help you during your visit to hospital whether it’s for a short stay or an outpatient’s appointment. Our volunteers can be a friendly face to help on arrival and checking in to a clinic, especially if you are anxious, frail or confused in an unfamiliar environment. Helping at hospitals can also support the NHS by making sure visitors and patients arrive at appointments on time and are well supported.
