Lunch clubs

older lady having a cup of teaRoyal Voluntary Service lunch clubs bring older people together to enjoy a hot nutritious meal and socialise with friends at the same time.

Lunch clubs typically might meet once a month. The meal is just one part of the lunchtime experience. It's a social occasion as much as it is a nutritional one.

Our lunch clubs prove to be as much social as well as nutritional occasions, a lunchtime meal followed by activities later in the afternoon.

Royal Voluntary Service lunch clubs encourage healthy cooking, healthy eating. For those not used to cooking for themselves we teach one pot cooking, a nutritional solution that will provide a healthy meal for successive days that even the most inexperienced cook can get to grips with.
