Free Will service

Make or change your Will and help us be there for older people

Over the next ten years the number of older people living in the UK will rise by 30% to 13 million and we want to make sure we’re here to meet the challenge. By leaving a gift in your Will we can continue to deliver excellent services that provide our older generations the care they expect and deserve.

We know that making or updating your Will can be easy to put off, which is why we’ve teamed up with the National Free Wills Network to offer the opportunity to make or update your Will by a fully qualified solicitor free of charge. Our Free Will Service is an easy way to make a difference to a cause you believe in.

How does the free Will service work?

Step 1: Simply complete our free Wills service online form to register your interest.

Step 2: We’ll pass your details to the National Free Wills Network, who will then post you your Free Will Pack which includes:

  • your confidential declaration form
  • a list of local participating solicitors.

Step 3: Choose a local solicitor from the list provided in your pack and contact them to make an appointment.

Step 4: Take your confidential declaration along to your appointment and your solicitor will draft your Will for you. Once you are happy and your Will has been finalised, your solicitor will send us your declaration form together with their invoice and we’ll pay for it.

This is a limited offer open to anyone aged over 55. We agree to cover the cost of a simple single or mirror Will and there is no obligation to leave a legacy to Royal Voluntary Service, but a gift of any size would make a real difference to our work in the future.
