We love to have the opportunity to talk to people face to face to tell them about our work. That’s why we have teams of fundraisers talking to people at private sites such as supermarkets, shopping centres, train stations or garden centres.
It’s one of the best possible ways of spreading the word about the serious issues facing older people within our communities, and explaining Royal Voluntary Service can make a difference.
In 2016, thousands of people started supporting Royal Voluntary Service with a regular donation after talking to one of our fundraisers – helping us to raise more funds for our life changing work.
You can identify our fundraisers as they will be smartly dressed in branded t-shirts and jackets, and also carry and display an identity card at all times.
If you’d like to come along and talk to one of our fundraisers about the work we do or how you could help to support us, we’ll be in the following areas on the following dates – just pop along and say hi!
