We are an innovative charity that focuses on inspiring people to give the gift of voluntary service to support the NHS and older people at home and in the community. We are now looking for a Retail Customer Assistant to join our team on a part time basis.
Within a welcoming and team-focused environment, you will have the chance to undertake great training and make a positive difference to staff, patients and visitors on a day-to-day basis.
As the Retail Customer Assistant, you’ll provide a high level of service to customers at our client’s café in Royal Victoria Hospital.
In this diverse role, you will:
- Ensure that the highest levels of customer care are delivered
- Delegate tasks to staff and volunteers
- Serve hot and cold food and drinks
- Maintain high standards of hygiene in the unit
Interested? To be considered, you’ll need strong customer service skills. A team player mentality and positive attitude are also key.
Self-motivated and organised, as a Retail Customer Assistant, you’ll have excellent communication skills. You’ll also be friendly and personable with a caring, sensitive approach to customers and volunteers.
Experience in a similar retail environment would be beneficial, as would knowledge of EPOS systems. Experience of general administrative processes would also be an advantage, as would proficiency in standard IT systems.
This is a part time role, working 16 hours per week. The opening hours of the café are 7:30 – 16:30, Monday – Friday.
