We are an innovative charity that focuses on inspiring people to give the gift of voluntary service to support the NHS and older people at home and in the community. We are now looking for a part time Service Co-ordinator to join our team on a contract until 31 December 2019.

As a Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for helping deliver our ‘Living Well’ programme that supports people with dementia and their families.
The service provides CST (Cognitive Stimulation Therapy) sessions involving activities that are fun, musical and mentally stimulating with some gentle exercise.
Working with the Project Manager, you’ll prepare and deliver the service, ensuring all activities are delivered in-line with service level agreements. You’ll make sure that the programme achieves set KPIs and achieves its aims in a reportable way.
Additionally, you will recruit and support volunteers to help out at group sessions.
This role covers three sites: Wooler, Alnwick and Cramlington.
Interested? If so, you will need:
- Experience of working with volunteers and supporting and motivating them on a daily basis
- Previous experience of working with groups
- Knowledge of volunteers and voluntary services
- Experience of handling personal information and the legal requirements of this
- A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
Organised and detail focused, as a Service Coordinator, you will need to be helpful, approachable and communicative. A flexible attitude and excellent time management skills will also be vital.
Experience of general administrative processes and maintaining databases would be beneficial. Knowledge of dementia would also be advantageous.
This is a part time contract working 16 hours per week, Tuesday – Thursday.
