It's amazing what we can do when we all put our minds to it. That's why Royal Voluntary Service is delighted to be part of the Good Morning Britain 1 Million Minutes campaign.
However many minutes you can spare, we have plenty of ways to help. We urgently need volunteers for roles up and down the country. From supporting older people
as they recover from illness, to bringing everyone together for a social activity, our volunteers are making a big difference to communities across Britain.
Our volunteers create a welcome oasis in hospital for patients, visitors and staff.
Lend a hand to give older people a tasty, nutritious meal in good company.
Your support could help an older person recover their health and confidence.
Start a new social activity for people in your neighbourhood – dancing, DIY, dining out...
Royal Voluntary Service volunteers have been playing their part in local communities since 1938. However they help, our volunteers say they enjoy it as much as the people they support – so why not come and join us? You could be making a difference at our hospital cafés,
shops and trolleys, lending a hand at a local lunch club, helping support someone going home from hospital or even organising a get-together for people in your neighbourhood.
We urgently need volunteers for co-ordinator roles in Glasgow, Stirling, Edinburgh, Aberdeen,
North Yorkshire, Manchester, Cornwall, Devon, Reading, Swindon, London, North Wales and South Wales.
