Simplyhealth partnership with Royal Voluntary Service
Simplyheath ensures that everyone is able to make the most of life through better everyday health with access to everyday health products, services and support, that they need, when they need them, at a price they can afford.

In early 2018, Simplyhealth donated £1 to Royal Voluntary Service for every new person that joined its free online discussion forum, Care Community which supports those caring for older loved ones.

To spread the word, Simplyhealth launched a fundraising campaign to highlight the hectic life of those caring for older family members and how they often need to juggle this with both work and childcare commitments.Support from Simplyhealth enables Royal Voluntary Service to run more Healthy & Happy Lives groups across Britain, making a tangible difference to the lives of those who attend and also those who care for an older family member.

Healthy & Happy Lives groups are fun days out, a chance to socialise; they are managed and delivered by local Royal Voluntary Service employees and volunteers at our centres or other community venues. The groups can provide a valuable form of respite to carers as well as peace of mind from knowing their loved one is in good company.

As part of the campaign, Simplyhealth created a film to show the busy life of a carer and how they and their loved ones can benefit from Royal Voluntary Service Healthy & Happy Lives groups.
