Carewatch nominated Royal Voluntary Service as their Charity of the Year in 2018 and employees have already taken part in fun and creative fundraising activities. Care teams enjoyed a Six Nations Knockout Challenge where competitors had to flick a ball over moving cardboard posts and the furthest distance won. Another challenge was a Squat Challenge with team members competing to see how long they could maintain a squat position, no easy feat. The branch teams are always looking for fun ways to raise money together.
The company is committed to raising as much money as possible for Royal Voluntary Service in 2018.
"Given the nature of our work - we provide quality, personalised home care services designed to enable our customers to remain as independent as possible within their own home, safely, comfortably, and with dignity - we know how important it is to support the work of Royal Voluntary Service and its volunteers." Scott Christie, Chief Executive Officer, Carewatch

"We are delighted to have been chosen as Carewatch’s Charity of the Year for 2018, the company is a natural fit for Royal Voluntary Service; both organisations work hard to support vulnerable older people by building confidence and improving well-being."
