Royal Voluntary Service clubs give older people opportunities to meet up with old friends and make new ones.
We have approximately 450 community centres and lunch clubs across England, Scotland and Wales and these - or other places like village halls - are the venue for a range of activities and events that bring people together in varied and active ways.
Our lunch clubs prove to be as much social as nutritional occasions, a lunchtime meal followed by activities later in the afternoon. We also use the clubs to encourage healthy cooking, as well as healthy eating, demonstrating how one pot cooking is something that even the most inexperienced cook can get to grips with.
To discover more about each service click on the menu to the left under 'Social activities', or choose from the list below.
Our community centres offer a place to meet up with friends and take part in activities.
A warm and welcoming environment to find out information on services for older people in their local area.
